I prefer a less organic style for my Nurgle stuff going for a neglected industrial look.
If you want it to be possessed then definately tentacles and open sores etc are the way to go. Exposed machinery, cracked casings and low tech \"repairs\" will make it look like it\'s been in service in the eye for 10k years. The trick is not to make it look overboard because it turns Orky
A couple of examples to show what I mean:

The photos are rubbish but they\'ll hopefully help to give you some inspiration

i agree with undave you have to look at the death guard fluff, they had only small amounts of embelishment on the armour, i have done some work on a nurgle dreadnought recently and to make it look more possesed i used parts from nid sprues the bigger guns have sick pipes on i used them going from the exhaust stacks back into the body shell, i depends what look ur after. hope i helped

Ok so I have put the pred together now and I\'ve started to detail the model, a few spikes have been added and I have chipped away at the hull to give it an aged/weathered look.

I\'m waiting for my green stuff to come today I\'ve orders a meter roll of the stuff can\'t have to much!

mouldlines! :p lol

Are you sure about using the snake/dragon/demon heads for the barrel tips?

they ARE cool, but not so Nurgley...

We\'ll I though the stubby dragon heads were a more fitting for nurgle than the longer ones.

I\'ll get rid off those mold lines before i start the green stuffing. To be honest it was late and I was tired so I took some snaps befor I went to bed.

Have faith DaN man It\'ll all come together.

Ok so I did a bit more last night and have now decided I want the preditor to represent being possesed by a demon
So some of the things I\'ll add are chains to the back door and the hatch on the turret to show the demon being held in side.
I also painted cracks on the hull to mark out where the green stuff cracks are going to go.

I\'m ganna fill the hull with something that looks like a demon
these are my original Ideas using the carapace from the Nid Carnefex and sculpting some green stuff tenticles etc...(green stuff still hasn\'t arrive - Roymail obviously serving the dark gods now days

That looks nice so far man. Im liking the chipped effect. Id like to see how you do your green-stuff cracks too. Good luck on the inside and the rest of it for that matter.

It cracks me up that you asked for ideas and Yetie provides a link of a model you commented negatively on. Poetic Justice? Or just Ironic?
:D :D

I have gone a bit mad on the modelling of the pred this weekend and ended up getting it to paint...But like an idiot:duh:??? I didn\'t take any photos of the in between parts woops... But hey I suppose the end result is what\'s important so i\'ll post some more pics tomorrow so you can see some of the detailing I\'ve done.

I just read the comments left on said mini, and I wish I had\'nt posted the link to help out now.
Constructive comments maybe but down right rude there is no need for in my opinion any way!!!

Those cracks seem a bit too curved in places... Might\'ve been more effective to have them straighter and more jaggedy (Is that a word?)

Also, I\'dv built up the edges a bit more, as it doesn\'t look right only having the edges raised...

The carnifex plates look quite good so far, but I can see a bit of a gap round the edge.

Colourwise- nice and nurgley for the base coat.

I think you should stick some breakfast cereal to it and give it a big mouth at the front ;) lol
