Odd Flesh Help

and not that kinda odd flesh....I am working on an Abyssal Deathknight mini from reaper from the Exalted line and I\'m having problems getting the tone I want. If anyone\'s ever seen the cover of the \'Abyssals\' exalted book, that is what Im shooting for-pale greyish but with a tint of warmth coming through....Any suggestions or other help?:|~

Do you have an image of the cover? I\'m not familiar with it.

It sounds like it might be another useful application of Vallejo\'s Smoke? Paint the skin with greys, and add a touch of Smoke in with the shade (not a lot, the stuff\'s strong). That way you would have the grey being strongest, but have that warm brown \'behind\' it?

Just a theory...seeing the image would help, I think.

Well, in Vallejo colros I\'d Use German WWII Beige #821 and Deck Tan #986 and maybe some Ivory #918 and think about adding some Cork Brown #843 if it looks too greenish.. (enter shameless plug mode) I just finished my Ethnic skintone article adn I\'m thinking of making a fantasy skintone article in the future, but that\'ll be more work.. (/shameless plu mode) :p

Thats the cover art....but alas, chilly air and spray primer do not mix. Had to File13 the fig due to a re-prime gone bad a bit ago. Will be ordering a new one soon though, so comments appreciated. Also, if anyone has seen Play magazines \'Girls of Gaming vol.2\' the cover shot of Morena Strident is another tone I\'m shooting for.
