This is a conversion I have been meaning to do and finally got around to while some glazes were drying on another miniature. The body is from a Fenryll amazon, the head from a Fenryll snake, and the sword is from a GW skeleton sprue. I still need to fill a small gap where the head joins the body, but otherwise she is ready to be primed and painted. I am still trying to decide colors for this - I am thinking human skintone, running up into the \"underbelly\" of the snake part, with a dark brown for the scaled snake part. Any ideas on this would be appreciated!

I like this idear with the snake underbelly color. But why not take it all the way to her waist, she has the sixpack for it.

I was originally going to make all of the body human skintone and the just the snakehead a brown color. But I think that\'s a good idea Manus - I\'ll make her skin and scales on the snakeskin one color (I\'m thinking green) and the belly a different color. Thanks for the input!

Ok, hopefully this makes sense, but here\'s how I\'d do it. I\'d do the upper surfaces brown or dark green (snake skin patterns and what not), then the lower surfaces a tan or light green. The stomach would be the lighter colour the arms and back would be darker the outer surfaces of the legs would be darker, and the inner surfaces of the legs would be the lighter colour. I think that would look good, but then again i suppose you\'d have to do some colour tests first, just to be sure...

Makes sense - kind of what I had in mind after Manus posted. But I hadn\'t thought about doing it with the legs too - I may have to play around with that and see what it looks like; thanks!
