As a couple of you know, I am really knew to the hobby, and have been having some trouble getting everything right. But after all the tips and tricks I have been getting, I have been getting better. So my question is, I painted my ork boyz with knarloc green, and I want to use a wash of thrakka green, but I am not sure how to apply the wash. Any pointers?

the darker you want the colour, the more wash you put on. but basically washes are the easiest part of the hobby. just slap a wash sodden brush onto a model and you get great results.:innocent:

Hmmm, i wouldnt agree with your method hestan101. \'flooding\' areas in wash will cause the wash to run.

Its better to give 2 thinner coats rather than one thick coat

with my washes when using them for gaming standard i just slap it on, if im trying to paint a non-gaming mini then i would give it a couple of thinner coats
