So here is a new building, with a wacky name.
When I was building it, the structure had to fit into a triangle shaped base, so the building itself came out rather odd shaped because of it. That is why I gave it an odd and pompous name. It is the place in town where the townsfolk would go to pay their taxes, and where the Kings directives would be passed to his right hand withing the town, the Chancellor. It is built in a way that it looks to have been built up and added to ever time, the original structure of a round stone tower barely recognizable anymore.

Damn this winter and it\'s poor lighting, I\'ll redo these pictures when the Earth tilts back.
This piece is 1/2 of a two part project, where the bases will interlock to be one piece. Look for the other in the next couple of months.

I can\'t believe that nobody\'s commented on this!

What a superb piece of work.. really well made and painted. It looks a bit like Stokesay Castle. I\'d love to try something like this one day... how long did it take you?

Only question... why is the dormer window on the lower gable leaning backwards? It looks slightly odd to me ???

Thanks for the comments.
Ah, lets see, I think it took about a month from start to finish.I just posted it, but it\'s been finished for a couple of weeks. I was just waiting for the day that the snow was mostly melted.

As for that dormer, yeah it leans back. I\'m not quite sure what happened there, but it was well under construction before I noticed it. Ah well, I\'ll just attribute it to medieval architects having not the best squares.lol

You have just hit a homerun, that would fit in every backdrop of a movieset, realism is very high. Clever idear useing a forest as background.
