Ogre Butcher MSB-style

This Ogre Butcher is from the MSB Toys line of miniatures.
Painting his face, he reminded me of actor Geoffrey Palmer, with those droopy jowls.
His was my first five o\'clock shadow.
I tried to make him look as gruesome as possible.
Let me know if I succeeded or not.

Nice work, I love the personality this guy has in his face, and you\'ve done a great job bringing it out. I like the 5 o\'clock shadow, but I think it could be a touch darker, it is a bit hard to see, although that coudl be the photo. I think you\'ve also done some excellent bloodstains, some of the best I\'ve seen.

The shirt color is a nice touch too, that faint green gives a lot too the feel of the peice. I don\'t know if I like the pants however. I can see they\'re well done, but they just don\'t seem to work as well for me. In the photo they look an odd mix of brown, green and red, with rather abrupt highlights with very dark shadows. If you were adding bloodstains to them, I think it would have worked better without such dark shadows, since we can only see the red on those little highlighted places. Of course this is a relatively minor thing for an overall outstanding paintjob. Love your base as well!

9 from me :)

I like him! I agreed with the previous poster in regards to the stubble--in the photo it is a bit light and difficult to see. The rest is well done and I don\'t have anything to critique.
