you really did a great job. The only place you slacked on are the rocks. They are a little flat but I still give it a 9 because it is that good. Well done sir.

Andy,

I've seen this on your gallery, like it a lot. I love watching these classic minis painted to such standards.

If you want some constructive criticism / opinion, the contrast in the green armour (patinated bronze, I guess?) could be pushed a little further. You know how to do it, because there are other figures in your gallery showing you're skilled with NMM.
And maybe differentiate gold and leather in the sword and harness. It all seem to have the same treatment, when the sword's guard and the buckle should be some different from the scabbard and the leather stripes. Some brownish glazes in these last should do it.

Just my two cents, great job anyway. :D

This was the very first rminiatue I saw in a small games shop whilst on holiday, it also turned out to be the first miniature I ever bought, painted (ruined) and stripped. For me, one of the most influential mini's from the good old days. You have done a top job on him, really bought him up to date. Top drawer! I am one jealous man typing this, in face I'm going to jump on ebay and see if there are any hanging around looking for a new home....
