Ogre sculpt

Hi all
Thought I would put up me ogre sculpt i did for the Heresy competition.
I placed fourth and there were a lot of very good sculpts in there. Im really chuffed and am presently tweaking the green ready for moulding.

I like it Mark, 4th is very respectable indeed. I would quite like to have a bash at painting one of those, would look great in amongst my Ogre Horde. Right off to vote.

I\'m liking this and the neanderthol imagery works really well IMHO.

The legs look a bit out of proportion in the first pic , although that does help exxagerate the muscles on the arms and body, but they look fine in the side and hind views so may just be the camera angle.

I like it a lot, and if you accidentally have a spare one after casting then the \'\'orkydave orphanarium for accidentally spare mini\'s\'\' would give him a good home!lol

The winners were very good too. I liked Klutes as much as I did any of the others and was surprised it was only 4th. And thats taking nothing away from the first three.

The winning \'demon\' is a bit rough in spots but he is damn cool.

Thanks everyone. The whole competition was very high quality. The one that won is a very Netherlord type and extrememly cool and menacing. Kev White got second with his Sludge Gulper. Apologies but I cant remember third.
Hmm yes the Heresy site and forum has been down all day.

Quick note on the \"stubby\" legs as a few people have mentioned them. I swear the armature and proportions are correct. Im reckoning its the size of the belly and the overhand that makes the legs look short.
I think it comes back to what we think things should look like and what we are used too.
Now the shoulders are definitely a bit dodgy as far as anatomy goes.
