Ogres. Simply Ogres.

I can’t believe I am doing this.

Ok. Since I play Blood Bowl on Sunday afternoons, I decided to do an ogre team. I will post my work here. It will be slow going because I still don’t have the snotlings for the team. Here is the first picture. They have already been primed and undercoated black.

Not to actually paint them.

Good luck, Ogres aren\'t terribly bright They can be fun though, I usually enjoyed the single Ogre on my human team. That is until he got murdered by a dirty stinkin Orc named McGurk or something, that guy never ever ever gets caught even though he fouls every single turn he gets the chance

Jumbo even scored a touchdown once before he met his untimely doom. Final turn of the half, had nothing better to do than try to hand it off and have him run for it. Can\'t believe it worked! lol

My manager plays an ogre team in our store league, and they are great fun to play with or against!

The ammount of Bonehead rolls he fails never fails to amuse.

I love the ogre team models, have you decided on your teams colours yet?

I\'m thinking blue. Or a blue and white colour scheme.

Blue and white like the studio Ogres? Or some other portrayal?

What did you use to undercoat them? I cant remember if you got spray in SK or not.

Just some other colour scheme. I didn\'t know about he Studio colour scheme.

@ Gnome: I used white paint primer and watered down black paint. Then I added layers.

How come you undercoated them in white and then washed them with black, because in the photo they just look black.

Theres always the option of giving them a couple of light coats of white leaving the recesses nice and dark and the raised areas able to take on some bright colours. I just hate trying to paint white areas and lighter colours over black.

I used to play Blood Bowl way back in the early 90\'s, and LOVED it. Wish I still had my copy, and can\'t wait to see some WIP pics.:beer:
