hey guys i was talking to a buddy and all of a sudden we thoght about a maneater use the ork tribe i was wondering is it stupid or wut!

An Orc-inspired Ogre. See, I would paint it green and call it a very fat orc cheiftan. Maybe some orc glyphs, then?

It would be alot cooler not to paint the ork-ogre green entirely (a bit to much shrek for my taste). Alot cooler to let patches of the real ogre skincolour shine through as if he painted himself green to try to blend in because the ork\'s were so cool and inspiring...

I am now officially totally enthralled with this idea of the High Elf Ogre. More from my conversion sketchbook:

Figure I can go with the standard white and blue, but with the white being a little dirty and dingy. The pole arm (hence the extended arm) will be a really nice wooden pole with something elfy at the top and the ogre regular style sword basically lashed to it, rusty and basically in stark contrast to the nice elfin wood. Its a half gut plate (which will make the conversion a tad easier too) with jewels and such, though the jewels will likely appear a semi-precious stones rather than the good stuff since the elves wood keep that for themselves. The scale armor will also be dirty and rusty.

Any further ideas folks?

P.S. - I guess this thread has evolved into actually fitting in here since this is now a WIP by me (and I suspect others are working their magic too)

--though it would still fit better in P&C

I\'m trying to work the magic, but all I keep getting is imps scurrying around me and the basement remains a mess. Maybe the magic will start working this weekend.

As for suggestions, I think you\'re on top of it. I say forge ahead and can\'t wait to see some work on it.

wow i would like to sculpt that but im working on other things right know about how many sketches do you have other conversions!

most sketches only reach that stage of \"finality\" when I am about to work on them. This means most are extremely rough and folks wouldn\'t likely recognize what they were with some text...

Daemonhunters (in particular a scratchbuild daemonhost)
Space Marines (Templars and Custom Chapter for DH Army)
Eldar (planning stages only)
Khador
Chaos (daemons and scratchbuilds those these are predominantly only in the planning stage ATM)
Whatever else strikes my fancy...
