oh..! what should I wear?

I\'m going to a masquerade this Saturday and wondering if you have any ideas of what I should be?

My first suggestion to my girlfriend was Alex from a clockwork orange, intitally she was positive, but now she wants me to look.. ahem. \'cute\' lol so that ruled out Jack Torrance from the shining and Patrick Bateman from American psycho too.

Her last proposal was \'a rock\'. Yes, a rock. how cute..

I don\'t have a huge wardrobe so if you have any simple outfits to recommend I\'ll be all ears!

Here\'s a photo from the PYP so you know what to you have work with! Did anyone of you figure out which movie\'s playing in the background?

@steelcult: I don\'t have a black suit but I could get one I think. I borrowed one last year from a friend. as for MIB. I do need a silly looking gun too

@Galante. So you mean I should go half-naked, shave off half my hair, color it orange, make a silly hairstyle, paint tatoos over my body and wear a giant axe?.. tempting!

@Orchid noir: Well I like to get \'in character\' so that\'s probably what she ment with not cute lol. A mime? I\'ll probably be beat up if I posed as a mime..

Silly looking gun - just buy a super soaker. It\'s probably got the right look for MIB (apart from the bright colours) and if anyone laughs at your costume, you have a readily available retaliation.

Come on , the location , the blond hair its blooming obvious what you should go as, a VIKING !!!!! And if you want to keep the cost down go as a Berserker that way if you get hot you can go crazy and rip most of your clothes off !Just try and avoid putting any of the other guests in hospital. @Vincenti: Well we allready dress up like vikings so often. I like the berserker idea.. but in what way is a berserker cute? As for GD, I will most likely go, I have started on some entries. Are you going?

@airhead: robin, do you mean as in an american robin? I don\'t have a Robin costume.. wheter it\'s the bird or batmans companion. Link is a good idea but I don\'t have that much of a wardrobe.

What I\'m thinking now is Swedish charter-tourist. (just replace swedish with german or english and you\'ll see the picture)

Sulphuric acid, not a good idea. (it eats through plastic)

However, Hydrochloric acid should have the same effect and has the added advantage of being available from your nearest pool chemicals supplier.

Actually I knew that, but I didn\'t think concentrated hydrochloric acid could be kept in a plastic container either. ah.. you learn something new every day.

I hate costume parties, so I can\'t be much more helpful. I stand by my suggestion... or you could dress up like a surgeon. Women like doctors... at least if we\'re to believe TV.

Go as Hunter S Thompson. Gives you an excuse to stagger all over the place and making funny noises (even before being drunk) And the costume is fairly cheap: Go to a second hand clothing store, get a hawaiian shirt, 70\'s style sunglasses, a tan outdoor vest, a tan fishing hat and a cigarette filter and you\'re set. And then if you\'ve ever seen Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, you can walk around the party swinging a fly swatter yelling \"This is bat country!\"
