Oils and Dullcoat - What Will Happen?

I primarily paint with acrylics, but I use a very small amount of oil paint to shade and weather some areas. Can I use dullcoat immediately after painting? Should I wait, and if so, how long? I generally don't seal miniatures after painting as they go directly into my glass case, but I'm planning on using these for the odd game and want a little extra protection. I painted one shoulder with a satin varnish followed by matte varnish to see what would happen (nothing), but I'm worried that they're may be issue later on as the paint tries to off gas/cure. I'd love to hear any thoughts and opinions.

Thanks,

Tristan

I've done this without incident. I've sprayed dullcote on dried oils used for washes. I've sprayed dullcote on still tacky figures dipped in Minwax Polyshades (still tacky after 24-36 hours.) This "solved" the tackiness somehow with no adverse affect (Admitted, I only dip game-table quality models)

I've never had issues. I think if the oils were fairly thinned there isn't much left for them to cure. Also dulcote clearly alcohol based from the smell and seems to work well with sealing everything o_O
