Thanks a lot guys, appreciate it. Got a lot of painting time this weekend, and gaming time as well... I'm planning to be done with this and then some. Spent the last few hours working on the 'little brothers', and I think I am calling them done:

Hahah, thanks Tero. I *did* spend several hours on these guys... but okay, this is pretty fast work. I'm been getting faster, and intend to get faster still. Once I get that down, I'll be contrary and do some slow work...
Plan was to finish the Howler as well, but now I'm not sure if I need to reapply a few of the highlights. I'll let it dry overnight and take a look in the daylight.

I like this one a lot it has some H.P.Lovecraft terrors in it.
I am experimenting with this zenithal and focal lightning too, have you got a ref pic with just the primer coat? (base and 70 degree one) it helps me to visualize the lights and shadows more... If not, you can turn off the lights and put a lantern pointing the mini at 70 degree and take a pic (mental or not) of that scene...
Anyway it is almost finished and it looks very good to me

Thanks a bunch fellas! Added some UHU-effects on him yesterday... going to use Blood for the Blood God on it to turn it into gore, and then it is done:

Had a huuuuuge airbrushing session yesterday. Nothing really interesting to show, but here is an overview:

Airbrushing is a lot of fun, and I can quickly get the thin, smooth coats I usually screw up because I am too impatient. I still need to practice, but I can already be a lot more precise with it than I expected. Best of all, I'm not afraid of using the airbrush anymore, so I'm going to try to use it a lot more from now on. Only downside is that it is addictive so once I start I never stop.

Thanks Oist, every time I pass by a swamp around here Im going to be looking out for this guy, and that means everywhere I go my eyes will be darting back and forth. Lol. I do have one bit of critique, the slime that goes from mouth to claw, I think it should have a bit of a droop to it.

Diggs and Tero, can you explain what you mean here? That the line should sort of sag? I'm not sure how I can accomplish that easily, particularly as that line will break quite easily. My intention is that his movement makes it taut, he draws the claw back and we see it the moment before it snaps. Also, I can add some drip to it once I add the blood (possibly later today, I want more painting time damnit!).

(not)Nice monster again please take care with those UHU threads they are superfragile!!
If you are going to wargame with him I would use candle light melted plastic instead... those Threads on the "ZIP bags" are good for that....I read it somewhere xD
Oh and for what tero and Diggs mean (I think) is that your drool thread goes straight from mouth to claw, but it would be better if it was curved downwards to the earth (gravity and all that physics theory)...
