Well now,

As orkydave has done a very nice Warrior priest (and made a packet on it i might add!!!!!) i did mention to him that i was painting the same model, i have already posted piccies of him and thanks for all the lovely comments..

But i have to go one better here is the figure with an elaborate base, i am painting these for a comp at my local GW store for the end of the Winter war campaign,

Please let me know what you think so far it is just a wip at the mo and not everything is finished,

Nice WIP! The painting seems sharp. But I feel that you might try to work some with the eyes. . maybe it\'s the picture as well. Another thing is that the grain of the sand of the bases are finer than most of the sand of the display base. Makes them not fit in as well as they could.

This is looking fantastic Iain!!! The painting is realy well done and you are really pulling out all the stops with these scenic bases!

What figures are going in the 2 empty places? and do you have any pics of the individual minis?

I can see what averlorn is saying about the different grades of sand, but this can easilly be fixed by putting a bit of the coarser stuff on the corner of the base of the dude holding his head, and just a smidgen on the one with the flail.

Certainly my favourite of yours so far mate, cant wait to see it finished!
