OK This isn\'t happening!!!!

The other night I felt wide awake and saw a guy at the end of my bed smoking a pipe in a strobe effect way for about 5 mins till it went. I dindn\'t take it in til after and was promply wondering WTF just happened!!!???
Only today my mother said her father I never met (Died before I was born) fitted the EXACT discription!
I never seen any pictures before! What is this?! Anyone had any other experiences like that? This is one for the memoirs!!! But I\'m TOTALLY wierded out!

Couple of questions -

Were you wide awake and unable to move?

Did the figure do anything?

Most probably you were suffering from whats known as sleep paralysis -

I had that once. I was away for the summer at a French immersion course. We were housed in a dorm. I was taking an afternoon nap, and then felt like I was awoken by the girl across the hall opening the door and talking to me. I was unable to move or respond and she left the room. Only it was impossible she could have done so, as the room doors locked automatically and she didn\'t have my key. It was a very vivid experience. Years later I read a description of sleep paralysis and that cleared everything up. :->

Carl Sagan and others have pointed out the similarities betwen both \"Alien Abduction\" and \"Demonic Possesion\" stories and Sleep Paralysis - without much success.

My wife reckons see feels a presence in our bedroom at night. (No pun intended folks) She thinks theres children running around our bed. Sometimes she sits up and stares at a figure for a while. I keep saying its my pile of clothes that I\'ve dumped in a heap before i go to bed. Either way its a little freaky...not that I\'m calling my wife a freak or anything.....well she did marry me

thats some scary shit! little kiddie ghost are the scariest, everyone knows that.

mind you the idea of ghost bez at the bottom of my bed loosens my bowels a little...
