For a non-realistic look, it does well. If rendered well. I\'m not a fan of NMM because the illusion is destroyed when the model is turned on a 360 degree axis. Metallics are harder to do because of the realistic and reflective nature of the painting medium. Plus NMM when done poorly looks really bad whereas metallic will be more forgiving.
