ever wounder how a cannon looks when it fires WITH a ball charge? want to know so you can make smoke coming out of the barrel so it looks real? well i just got back from an artillery competition of wich i took a picture of 2 cannons firing live rounds down range and several videos of a seige mortar firing. and with no more delay here they be for your viewing and modelling pleasures! (main reson for the many videos of the mortars is because you could actualy view the ball in flight)

nice vids. you got pretty good at following those mortar shots didn\'t you?! glad you had a good time. dropped the car off at the garage yet? :flame:

yeh the car from the camping trip is at the garage. we have a truck in the mean time. best part is everything is covered by the other guy\'s insurance so it doesnt cost us a dime lol

Side note: you know what I hate? When people look at my minis and say \"Looks like someone has a lot of free time on their hands!\" ... I\'m guessing you must get a lot of those kinds of comments about this too. :mad: Great hobby!

i never really get those kinds of comments heheh..... then again not many people have seen them 0_o and yeh lol mayb i should bring my nids some where see what people say :D lol

while im at it and before i forget il\'l post the flamethrower movie as i have seen in the past several people asking about how to make realistic looking shooting flamethrowers. you cant really see the flame but you can see the smoke coming off of it (my fault of having a bad angle sorry guys!)
