Old Bone, Help Needed

Hi guys.

I want to attain this effect of old bone that is on Kromac Head dress.

Any ideas?

start with an even coverage of bleached bone then build up with washes of kommando khaki and highlight with menoth white highlight. final touches with skull white. hope it helps.

You could try adding a touch of grey into your normal bone recipe, the grey will give it an older more weathered look.

Graveyard earth a touch of black and a touch of vomit brown base..highlight up with Kommando K then Bleached bone....

should work...you can also wash down with snakebite leather and black depending which way you prefer working

oh and white highlighting on the tips to give the bleached effect.....in fact missing Bleached bone and just using white to highlight may give an older look..

It\'s weird I paint lots of bone and I\'m always trying different ways of doing it but never really settled on anything....
