Old friend back in painting!

Hi, Y\'all,I dream only of being worthy of looking at your stuff:bouncy:

Just want to tell you folks that, though I don\'t create great pieces of Art on my own yet, I do my part to spread the hobby.

I convinced one of my friends to start painting again, after 15 years away from the brushes.
He\'s the one at whose place I\'ve been painting for the last month, and he bought himself 3 Chaos warriors yesterday, motivated to make my minis look bad

I must say I\'m quite happy, I will not be the only painter for miles around anymore

So, I want give everyone the challenge to bring one new hobbyist or an old hobbyist back into painting, it\'s good to keep the hobby moving.

got my smaller brother into the hobby couple of weeks ago.. i have him some minis and my collectin of GW paints(prox40 pots)... he likes to paint.. trying to teach hi about drybrushing :duh:

Great idea! I vow that, starting this weekend, I will begin grabbing people randomly off the street, shackle them to a chair, and hold them hostage until they finish at least one mini to acceptable tabletop quality. I shall then let them go and grab myself another. Not only will this hopefully spread the hobby, but my army might finally get painted :bouncy:

i got quite a few people into the hobby... only 1 continues it however! he knows about the site but is too timid to post enything on it... next time im at his house il\'l get some pics and make him an accunt without him knowing lol

I will just breed new gamers. My son and one of my daughters are in the hobby. I wiil post my daughters minis when I get home. She loves covering her LOTR gobbos with blood.

@Ogrebane: Great Idea! Do you need a gamer wife to breed gamer kids... or it\'s possible to bring out their gamer half when they grow up ?
What can be better than a gobbo, besides a gobbo covered in blood lol
