Old GW Chaos Dragon Ogre .

New to CMON at least as far as uploading any pics goes.But here is an old GW figure i painted and based for a friend .should prob have taken better pics and my old 2006 Samsung cam blow out all the detail in the red/oranges but like i say its a start .

I`m also having a few problems with the sites UI and im not sure if my picture is listed or not .maybe it needs to be cleared first im really not sure .so if anybody has some advice or a handy link to a guide that would be great .

Super old mini and a nice paintjob. This guy was wicked on the old toptrump card game. Thanks for sharing. In terms of C&C I would like to see some more contrasts on the armour. Maybe for the edges to be brought out a bit brighter. Nice greens on the body.

I used my old 2006 cheapo Samsung pocket cam .whatever happened the reds and dark oranges never really came out .im not that bothered really as it was just a fun project and way of saying thanks to a friend .thanks for the crit man it all helps and we all need to hear a second/third opinion from time to time .

Btw if you ever pick up one of these old figs ,the join in the center of the body and other at the back leg/tail are awful .

Yeah, I remember that one being a bugger to put together. The skin looks nicely naturalistic. I would have guessed the reds got a little diminished at the photostage, can see something interesting going on with it byt unable to tell what, and its likely flattened it out some cos they're ain't a great deal of contrast on it. It's a tricky choice, red, it's such a dominating colour it can unbalance the whole with its distracting nature.

You're only old if you remember the converted one 'Eavy Metal had in an old White Dwarf. With a sword and eagle. Obviously, I don't. :s

Yip i remember that well man lol ah i have a copy of WHFB 2nd ed here and pre 100`s copies of white dwarf im fooling nobody ,even got the poster that came in issue 100 i think on the door here,back when golden daemon first started "john blanches evy metal" the one with the first plastic space marines painted up as blood angels and the dinosaur with the big howdah on its back.
