Old Space Marine Backpacks

Here\'s one for you GW experts. I\'ve got a set of early space marine suits (Thunder Armor, MK2, MK3, and the beakies) and wanted to use some of the older GW backpack designs with these suits of armor (like the backpacks they made in the 80\'s). Unfortunately, the photo on Stuff of Legends is really blurry. Does anybody have some good photos of these old backpacks? I know I probably won\'t be able to find any of the packs per se, but I figured I could green stuff up something once I had an idea on what I was looking at. I also figured I would use that as a basis for a Thunder Suit backpack that was even more archaic than what I put on the MK2 suit.

If I was at home I could just go take a pic of one from the original sprues.. unfortunately I\'m not, but you gave me a mission which is a good thing on a Slow friday at work.

Here\'s what I\'ve found so far, this isn\'t quite the same as the ones I have, the nozels are very small, but it\'s an oldie:

oooh, thank you Gilvan. If you do get a chance when you get home, I\'d definitly like to see the original sprue, but that photo helped a lot!

Backpacks on sprue. Didn\'t even have to go home (none of mine are on sprue, they are all on unpainted or painted plastic guys.

Are these the ones you are looking for?

There were some variations of the metal one but sadly I don\'t own any of those.
