Possibly. But these guys are identical twins. With anyone else, you can do a swap with a suitable donor, but the recipient still has to be tanked up on silly amounts of anti-rejection/immunosuppressant drugs because there\'ll still be a degree of immune response to the \"foreign\" tissue (my dad had a lung transplant- same thing). But I believe the doctors are working on limb transplants. A couple of years ago I remember a story about a French chap who had a hand transplant. I seem to recall it didn\'t work out perfectly in the end, tho. The guy blamed the docs and the docs blamed the guy.
As with any transplant, the trick isn\'t doing the surgery, it\'s finding a suitable, compatible donor whose family is willing to let a bit of their dearly departed wander around in a total stranger.
