Just picked up a nice 50mm f/1.4 lens... only a 105mm macro lens to buy and that\'s it! damn expensive business buying camera crap!

Didn\'t you end up with a D3 squidders (if so - no bloody wonder lol)

I just bought the f1.8 version and haven\'t really used it much yet to be honest... you should get some nice shallow dof pics with yours - nice bokeh (I believe it\'s called )

I bought a manfrotto tripod and head a few weeks ago - only the 190xprob and a ball head but it was still silly money for what it is

Yeah... D3... now all I need is a healthy dose of talent to go with it. Still, that\'s not stopping me from enjoying it.

I was pleased with the price of the 50mm and the focusing is really fast.

I have been lacking a normal lense to between the 14-24mm and 70-200mm and this seems to be spot on.

Manfrotto tripods are great, I have one myself and a monopod and they are both a great help!

Not in Cali mate... I got the new one from an ebay seller as there were none available in the UK due to Nikon being arses and not making enough to cover demand.

in the UK I usually use warehouse express.
