One thing i don\'t get in warmachine, it\'s a bit confusing, what is a warjack, what is a warcaster, what\'s the difference between them, i have heard, once you add this warjack your army changes, ?, What\' s up with that, how does that work, Do you have to buy the battlegroup or buy certain minis that fit similar points and that you will be comfortabe with.

Errr, a warjack is a big steam powered robot thingummy. A warcaster is a human(ish) sorcerer type who uses magic and controls the warjacks.

Check out the rules or buy a starter box. It\'s a great little game. :)

Like most table top wargames, different units have different abilities, strengths, weaknesses, etc. Certain warjacks and warcasters are best used in combination with specific other units to maximize their effectiveness. Some aren\'t so specialized and are more generalized in their use/effectiveness.

Hi Ihave just started my own Warmachine Band.

The Warcaster is the leader of the band/army as he/she has the energy (focus) to control the Warjacks (Big Machines).

The warjacks are your Troops and are a cross between steam power and magic.

You can have massive armies but the battlegroup box sets are a little force you can put together paint and play.

One really good thing is that All the stats for each figure come on a handy little card and you also get quick play rules in the box sets.

I have had a couple of games and although at first it seems like a nice little skirmish game the possibilties are pretty big.

Hope this may help;)
