Well, theres ARCANE MINIATURES, but I have to say that I\'ve had very mixed service from Russ, the guy that runs it. Sometimes it\'s been awesome, other times like pulling teeth.

I\'m not going to link them all directly tonight but there\'s hasslefree, heresy, Black Scorpion Miniatures, Spyglass, Ground Zero Games, Black hat Miniatures, Impact Miniatures, Essex Miniatures, Old Crow Models...to name but a few.
EDIT: I tried buying a couple of minis from Arcane. I filled in the form, submitted it, but nothing, no reply or anything. I was supposed to get an e-mail confirming the order and the invoice. I guess they didn\'t want my money.
EDIT2: I tried it three times and also sent an e-mail asking about it. As yet, no reply and it\'s been weeks.

Aye, possibly not. I figured it was preferable to have someone else\'s opinion before you stumbled on it by yourself and got burnt through not knowing. Better forewarned that forearmed, tho, eh?
(Actually, that saying seems to make no sense to me. Oh well, you know what I mean!)

Historex are very good and very quick. I think that you\'ll get a few more recommendations for them as well
Superb reputation, been using them since the early 70\'s pre-internet, mail order only.

Just to balance things... personally I\'ve ordered from Arcane four or five times over the last year or so and have had 100% perfect service every time. The minis have arrived faster than expected (the next day on one occasion) and the only time there was a problem was a missunderstanding about which version of a mini I had wanted and they took back the incorrect one and had sent out a replacement before they\'d got the original back again.
Can\'t comment on other people\'s experiences but mine have been nothing but good... and they have a trully AWESOME range of stuff in stock, and an easy-on-the-eye and easy to navigate website.

Yeah, SOMETIMES they\'re ok. And sometimes they\'re not. In the long run, I decided ordering from them was more bother than it was worth.

Wargames Workshop have got a good reputation. You could also try - Spirit Games - They have a pretty eclectic selection of stuff and again, have a good reputation.
It\'s a shame about Arcane - their shop is great, but I\'ve heard about iffy service on quite a few occassions, I\'ve only had a couple of bits from there and I seem to remember the service being slow both times.

I\'ve not had any problem with Arcane, but I\'m wondering if it\'s sucess is reliant on a single person running the business.

Guaranteed to be Mike (knowing what the rubbish margins are with minis etc, you\'d struggle to afford to employ an assistant). Also, couple that with tardy re-stocks from from manufacturers and distributors and all of a sudden you have people waiting far too long for back-stcoked items. When I ran GameMart, this happened quite a few times and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it if you go out of stock with items... I\'m so, so, glad I got shut of GM when I did, it was a fecking nightmare at times lol!
Having said that, keeping people updated and replying to enquiries promptly is essential.

That\'s the thing, I didn\'t hear anything at all, from orders or from the e-mail asking about the orders. Then again, I also tried Artemis Black\'s and I haven\'t had a reply from there either.
