I actually really like it, looks like a fat lazy dragon.

It's well sculpted, in a good pose, and I think a reasonable price. I think the size is about right for a dragon.

The sculpting is nicely done and the size is good. For me personally, I don't like the squat body... I like a sleeker looking dragon, so I'll pass on this one. I know it's part of the backstory they have printed, but the chubby legs are a turn off. However there is something about the face I really like. If you take off the wings it looks very dinosaur-like. I think this would be a great addition to a lizardmen army.

Not really my thing,

seems kind of scattered, like the sculptor couldn't decide is this a bird, or a salamanders, or a dragon, or which of these he should interpret. I also wonder if he was trying to appeal to the SDE crowd with an FW miniature and lost the identity of both in the process, especially since the description reads 'primordial and vicious' while the expression reads 'dumfounded and exhausted'....

...but, hey, that's just my two farthings. . .

I really like it but the Basilisk is far better and will be getting my pennies one day. I saw it the other day, i do like the Magma dragon, like Uber said though, treestump pointless. i d change it to a protective claw on a dragon egg or something.

I think I will be purchasing the basilsk, the ettin or the ettin and a Monster Arcanum book at Games Day. depending on how crazy i feel.

I like some of the details but the tree stump not so much, I would either remove it or redesign it into a stump or rock I did like.

Echoing the others, tree stump would be first on my list of things to change. And that would be a ton of dremel work and resculpt. I really don't like the turtle head. I'm okay with it being a rather stumpy figure, but the sharp beak just calls out as something that didn't fit. It needs to be more, well, massive and rock like. A giant boulder of a mouth and not something that looks fit to shell nuts.

Then the price of it! Yeah. Okay. Forgeworld. But still that's a hefty sum.

Dragons from games workshop and forge world are Sh*******te! They either are fat lumps that could never fly or are elfy welfy snap its back with one finger with weird faces.

For my money get an old kegox bloody brilliant!! Or if you dont want an ebay bidding war get one of the very good reaper miniature ones got to check em out because just like most things reaper there is a very large differential from stunning to oh dear oh dear.

I am a big Dragon fan (see how I capitalised the word?), and I have so many dragons that they begin to blur into a single common theme.
This one breaks that trend, it's heavier set, has a unusual jawline, nicely posed.
I'll probably get one, and paint it orange/red with brown-black spikes.

Here's another thought, how different would peoples reactions be if it was a painted example...there's a ponder for you.

Quite like it in principal, though as already mentioned the tree stump is a bit weird (can't make out from the photo's if it's a separate element). I actually think it would look a lot better if it were painted rather than the dull resin grey. I can just see a creature like this living in a land of volcano's and using it's wings to help it traverse the terrain rather than fly in the traditional sense.

I like it. It's different from so many of the other dragons I've seen. There is a dragon 'look' that seems to be the mold for almost all the dragons I've seen. This is a somewhat fresh take on what felt like a worn out motif.

Noooooope! looks like an Ankylosaur and the wings are too far back if it flew its ass would be in the air like Mutley falling out of a plane also the base is off half done they should have done a full base for it rather than sticking bits in below each foot.

I like how it is informed by living animals, it gives him a great sense of realism and naturalism. I enjoy this. I hate that the anime aesthetic is taking over miniatures and this is a beautiful example of what can be done with a naturalistic approach. The base bits that come attached to the hands are annoying and forgeworld is starting to do this far too much.
