Oi there ladies and gents! For about a year I\'ve been painting some now-and-then on my orc warboss on wyvern, and now I\'m closing up on the finish line. Therefore I want you, users of this superb forum, to give me some pros and cons. You guys have been a great source of inspiration in times of dullness. I don\'t think I\'d ever be to finish this one without coming back here and seeing some damn awesome minis.

Well, I\'ll just dump my stuff then. Ive been using NMM for this one; trying to get hold on some weathering of already dark and grimy metal. For the beast I chose greens and biege as main colours, as I personally think they are great colours.

Hehe - apart from the NASTY mould line - it looks great.

I would say, however, that the membrane areas of the wing are VERY similar in colour to the horn/claw colours...

I would glaze the membrane with a dark purple (hormagaunt purple, the foundation paint would be a great shade) to differentiate them from the horns. Or failing that just a few light washes of purple.

That base is great.

The wyvern itself is really well executed, the rider equally so. Only thing that sticks out is the red on the axe blade. Maybe bring this up a bit sharper to better accentuate it.

well it looks really nice over all, I like the color used on the wyrven and the riders looks well done.
There is one thing that brings it down a bit for me which is the membranes of the wings, the transition from brown to beige is way to abrut, on the pic it looks like you washed some brown over bleashed bone with way to much paint and just left it to puddle. I think blending the wings a bit better would really improve the mini.
Right now I\'d put it at 7,5 I think that with nice wings it could go up to 8.5.

Thank you very much guys! These advices are really great, and I hope I can imprve. Now, about the wing membranes, I do plan to do those better, but they are quite large, so it takes alot of time, and my patience is rather bad. I will be concentrating on the wings now, and then I\'ll try to get an update for you.

Cheers, Beleg.
