Sent a donation for the bed. I was thinking of putting together a little package with modelling stuff in it (flock, sand, glue, paint and a few minis), is this a good idea? Is there anything I shouldn\'t send? Anything that she particularly needs?

From what I understand Jeff Wilhelm is putting together a pretty extensive package of supplies for her. I had this set of vallejo game color sitting around so I\'m sending that over.

Yes Ive been putting together a pretty extensive hobby kit, cutting surface, tools basing materials, putty and a box load of miniatures that Ive received as samples.

Im painting up a Iron hand staken mini. But i dont know if im suppose to send it to tracy so she can put it up for an auction. or ill put it up here and sell it for the highest bet.

@Trevor Jeff does have modeling goodness headed out and I think Eric has paints to boot. I don\'t know if I am just that addicted but seems to me I could never have enough and also your choices and types would be different none the less. you have already helped by donating so give what feels right by you it will I assure be appreciated and used, I am pushing on her to paint and to paint GW as well for the extra cash it brings. Idea you do the finest bases I know this as well from the RR. do you ever cast those or have extra creations?

Wow, can\'t believe I just saw this post. Heck tell me what I can do! I\'m in the neighborhood! I\'m not a spectacular painter, but I have some connections with the local Boy Scout organizations and JROTC down here, and we definitly have something we can contribute to the cause. Just tell me what\'s left to do and I\'ll give it a shot.

Hi to all...Christmas rush is subsiding for me I hope you all had a great one...

As an update..
I got everything taken care of with Paypal, just waiting on the new debit cards to arrive. (you had asked what was up with me and paypal earlier)
Got the emails from Wal-Mart printed and heading over there in a few so that we can get the goodies before Allen goes to work. (Rex is all kinds of excited)
I\'m doing well at my \"I will spend a minimum of two hours at the painting desk,\" even if it\'s not all painting. *lol*

Tried to log into CMON yesterday when we were here, but I ran out of time after wading through all my email, not sure if I\'m going to make it there today. (got logged in just in time to have the thing time out and shut off *much rolling of eyes*)

Please, especially if I can\'t get there yet, let everyone know how much we appreciate everything, and that all three of us are hangin\' in and smiling. :)

also I spoke to Wendy on Friday and again tonight...
I had checked the Walmart for queen mattresses and they want an arm and a leg...
Wendy checked with Ikea it is close to her and found much better deals starting at 200.00 much better than I could get for the adult Queen mattress.

She has 379.00 (I sent by PayPal they got the cards and activated them) to work with because of all the kindness here and that will get a mattress for them and maybe a bookshelf. She has been using the cardboard boxes you all sent your gifts in for a book shelf.

Wendy is going to send some painted minis with the money you have donated used for the postage so that I can put them up for auction. I will let you know so you can all bid :D

I have heard all about the goodies you all have sent directly to her during our conversations....
Damn what an honor to know such a group of people as you all!

The family was on the way to the grocery store and checked the mail and the box was there so they took it to the apt and had to open it before they went....she never made it too the store...too busy roiling in basing material and setting up shop and Rex was coloring when I talked to her on the phone. She has mentioned your goodies a few times in separate conversations.
I feel sure you will get a thank you card soon in the mail

cool I included primer and sealer so I was hoping it made it ok in the mail.
