Ordering from ForgeWorld

well, im about to take a big step, and order my first item from forgeworld. its goingto be the khorne demon herald and prince. for those of you not familiar with the kit, it is both big and detailed.
not that great a feat, but ive heard about forgeworlds famous casts. what exactly is the probelm with them? ive heard airbubles and not fitting toghether is a main probelm, but just how bad is it?

it depends some casts i have had from fw have been very good with nothing wrong just a few tiny air bubbles



yet....

on the other hand i have also recieved casts that are so much out of place and not matching up that i had to ring them and get them to swap it.

but the good thing is that i like about fw if you have a really bad cast that will not go together etc then they will change it for you

That depends greatly on the item in question, the age of the moulds, pure luck and whether it\'s ordered a lot, little, and if it\'s cast by FW central or the third party caster they also use. As it\'s a new kit I\'d say you\'ll probably get a good cast, all the FW stuff I\'ve bought recently has been great, and at FW central they\'ve now initiated a very extensive quality control system. If all else fails, give them a ring, tell them about the problem, and they will generally send you a new one free of charge, they\'re nice like that.

I\'ve ordered a couple of bits over the past few years (in fact about to order some brass etchings shortly!) and can say that 100% they have fantastic customer service. A model I ordered had a really poorly molded bit, but I didn\'t realise until 2 years later when I came to do a few bits on it - got a replacement no fuss at all

it should be ok on new stuff but i have had some TERRIBLE stuff in the past

gw are normally pretty good with replacing, i just couldnt be arsed at the time
