Oriental Brettonians?

So brettonains are comming out and they look way cool. I also saw the movie The Last Samurai and in the midst of pondering, I was thinking a Samurai army would rule! The feudal system keeps with the fluff of the Brettonians and GW needs to do something with the orient. I mean they talk about Nippon and Cathy all the time, but no models. I know I\'ve seen a line of cool Oriental minis out there somewhere before, but I can\'t remember for the life of me. Adding big ornate armour plates and fancy oriental helmets is the first step. This is probably biting off way more than I wanna chew, but I think I wanna try it. Any suggestions and comments would be welcome.

The CLan Wars models kick much samuari butt.. I\'m not sure if there are a ton of mounted models, but there are definately really cool footmen.
They are out of print, but you can still find them pretty easily.

For Clan War use Unicorn Clan.. they have mounted archers, light and heavy cavalry, and mounted infantry. Also there\'s \"unaligned\" infantry boxes that have 6 each with yari (spear) and katana, so they work nicely. Also Unicorn Clan has shiotome - heavy female cavalry with heavy barding.

Unfortunately Clan War stopped production over a year ago so you will probly need to scour ebay for them.

In fact you could use all the clans from Clan War as the designs were pretty close to historical samurai.Strings on armors and sashimono (back banners) are a good way to make the army look more uniformized.
However,Clan Wars were a bit taller then GW and much more thinner and mixing them with GW shouldn\'t be a very good idea IMHO.
And yes there weren\' t a lot of mounted minis that\'s what I played them as Wood elves or High elves but mostly cause I wanted to field unarmored monks and ninjas as wardancers or scouts. That was the lone battle of warhammer I ever played and my 10000pts have been wiped out pretty easily by these damn orcs! However that was fun!
