as said not the best pictures.... i think the green and chess pattern look very good. dont know exactly what standrad youre heading for, the rest of the clothing and the metals are not bad but a bit 'uninterresting', tryout some other colours in the shading (for example red/purple/green) would do the trick. i myself really dig using different colours of ink in the shading of metal, it really help it to pop. just suggestions though. its a nice boss non the less :)

keep on orking!

I know the pictures are bad, i myself cannot photograph anything...literally ANYTHING. But yea skelettets any advice from you on orks is well taken, considering your the ork king of painting...im going to try some green washes, with a little blue, how you think that will look? I want almost the weathered to rust look, not rusted, but in the process of rusting, Oxidize if you will.

yeah i hear ya, i cant photo anything either!!

you make me blush :) well, i think you should try it! orks benefit a lot of a chaotic colourscheme, just go nuts, it really cant be 'wrong', that's the charm with orks!

Yea, i gave it some washes to hit the metal some more, considering that is the worst part of it as of right now...

The checkers are done completely freehand, the more you do it the better you get at it i guess. But the trick is to highlight each square with white, not the whole square just the upper right corners and layer like usual, it is difficult to do on such a small scale but rewarding at the end.
