Looks really nice! I think the pictures are a bit unsharp and small and doesn\'t seem to be doing the piece justice (from what I saw on spot).. so I can\'t give so much constructive advice. It seems like some parts (like the pants) could get some more highlights and other parts like the highlights on the hand could be blended more. Try mixing midtones (very diluted) between the different highlight layers to smooth them out.

A great piece and worthy winner, not the best pictures in the world however, the only thing I didn\'t get (even on the day before it made the cut) was why half a tyre?

Seriously great work, saw it on the day and it looked much better in the \"flesh\". Photo\'s look slightly washed, have you done a little post production on them? Great work however.

@OrkyDave - the grot is standing on a metal plate bolted to half a tyre - it looks more orky I think - also, any mek with an ounce of sense would have looted a whole tyre!

@Avelorn - the trousers are actually more highlighted than in the picture, but I can see what you mean about the hand. I think I rushed that bit slightly.

@Target - Thanks, I saw your Dryads on the winners day and I loved them! The idea and execution was great! Those Dryads really are tough as old boots hey? I winced when that thing fell on them... soooo lucky....
With the photos I used Arcsoft Photoimpression to compile them and merged the layers - that was all I did to them.... ???

Yeah, I think the photos are letting the model down, I will see if I can take some better ones and post them. Is it OK to have more than one picture of the same model in your gallery?
