here is my first ever aok war trukk, I have not painted orks before so please let me know what you think,

Good painting overall (and a nice photo of it). But my first reaction was that it\'s just a bit too uniformly weathered, giving it a \'samey\' look.
I\'d have been more selective about the rust for example - which I think is very good in many areas - using varied techniques here and there for variety. Same sort of thing with the mud.

Thanks for the comments guys, this is the first time i have done rust and mud, but i am now working on the battle wagon, will post pics when done, any tips on othere rust effects, ie best way to paint them exc\', would be great.

Depends on the type of rusting you want to do.
See the link in my post in this thread, Rust; those photos give a taster of just how varied rust can be. If you have any building going on near you go down some day with your camera and snap reference photos of bulldozers, moving trucks, old drums/jerrycans and so on, you\'ll get loads of inspiration.
There are probably many prior threads with something on painting rust effects. You might like to have a look at this one for a start, How to paint vehicle weathering?
