Ok, so after months I\'m back painting - working on my ork mob, and have stolen what I think is a cool idea for my armored orks -

Heres the group shot of Da Crew, prior to painting -

More to follow as I get em painted.

For sure need to have one or two with a radioactive marker or two on it. Like they stumbled upon this salt cave filled with tasty sandwich filling and barrels in perfect condition. lol

A nod of the head to Ned Kelly, there Lloyd.

Actually it\'s a good idea and completely within the mayhem that Orks are.
If you\'ve a 5 gallon jerry canor a bucket model use it as a Grot version.

Actually have the buckets, but the only grot I\'ve got atm is the one from the Biker Mob - and he\'s going on a slightly different set of bikes -

There are also some Burna Boys coming - at least one of whom will be wearing a bucket on his head.

@FC - Tamyia Models - they\'re 1/35 scale WWII accessories.

That is hilarious! It works perfectly for armoured orks. It makes me think that they are being shot up from which which way and just so happen to be next to some big cans, threw them over themselves, and started shooting.

These minis tell a story without saying anything.

please put one lying on his back, flailing around, while a grot try to lift him up. it would look hilarious. :)

I actually considered something like that - perhaps for the second group - I\'ve already learned much from doing these ones, and will put that to use with round 2.

Ok, so much painting has gone on, not a lot of pictureage, I know.

Will be rectifiying that soon. I\'ve gotten 4 orks finished, and have two more that are one or two steps from being finished sitting on my desk.

Also, since I got my green stuff (finally - damn weather) I can start on the ammo Grot for this bunch.

And the Ghost Ork is coming along - his bike is 80% and the base is finished - now just to finish him.

His base is one of the blanks that dragonforge does - have to take a moment here to to thank Jeff for the blanks and for actually shipping to someone in the desert.
