lol As the oscars are approaching I thought it might be fun to run our own CMON awards,just choices of random things connected with our hobby.Here are my top 5 OSCARS; .Best fantasy movie /Lord of the Rings(1,2,3)...BestSci/fi movie/Fifth Element.....Best WAR movie/Band of Brothers........Best Animated/Beauty and the Beast......Best Chick,Flick/How to loose a guy in 10 days.Only a couple of days left so get your nominations in! The Oscars seem so full of themselves I get naseus.

But -

I did like Saints and Soldiers and Crash wasnt too bad.

Really? don\'t get me wrong, I like the movie and own it, but it seems far from the best! I\'d vote for Alien with honorable mention to Terminator. 5th Element is pretty good, but the end got real cheesy and sort of let the movie down, although Gary Oldman was awesome in it.

For animated I still think it\'s hard to beat Spirited Away.

Definately, Equilibrium had better acting by far, than the other two movies you listed, and had a nice little statement about our over drugged society.
When they were shooting the dogs you could feel the horror and dismay Christian Bale was feeling.
I look forward to seeing Ultra Violet by the same director.
