I look out my window and what do I see:

Sunshine, temperatures in the 70 degrees/ a little over 21 Celsius ( if I have done the conversion right), flowers blooming, bees buzzing..it’s good to be me.

Well its dark out now, but it was about 32 degrees C, loads of birds singing (mainly mynah birds, hoody crows and some kind of green parrots), and hot.

Mosquito\'s minimal which is a big bonus!

Wet and Windy here, the forcast for the next couple of days doesnt look good, Huge storms comming which are supposidly ment to rival the great 1987 one. Time to batton down the hatches me thinks.

@dfd - it\'s beautiful (I\'m sure you hate it though) to a Texas guy like me. I think I\'ve only seen snow like twice in my life and nothing like that. Btw, how big are those houses? (Square feet?) They contribute to the perfect winter wonderland look.


Currently 56F and sunny here. Gorgeous day. Thank God for global warming. 100 years ago we\'d have been 55F today. Brrrrrr.

Ainu, nothing to be proud about at all..considering its been 10 years since we have had a snow fall like this.. it rarely snow here more than a few inches.. were on that its almost warm enough to rain instead belt.. so for US 12 inches is indeed something to write home about.

Yes were not canada..but then again..thats a very good thing

I have no idea what the weather is like here as I haven\'t bothered opening the curtains all day. It\'s quite cold though.

Basically a typical day here in the desert. Warm-ish, windy and dry. It\'s supposed to get up to 71 F/22 C today and down to 39 F/3 C tonight.

I long to live somewhere where a real tree grows. And the local flora and fauna doesn\'t either kill you or make you itch. I\'m thinking of moving to Canada.

Piss pouring rain here atm, been that way for two days now. It\'s snowed plenty but the white stuff just won\'t stay for more than a few days much to the dismay of my children. Nova Scotia is officially Canada\'s mildest province though the weather in Vancouver and Victoria tends to be much warmer than our own in the winter province wide NS has BC beat.

Well its been all sorts of different today. As low as 45 F, raining like crazy (I am talking HEAVY downpurs), now its sunny, gusty and 65.
