the way our crazy laws work he\'ll probably get off with it...if your gonna do something slightly crazy might as well just go totally insane.

Sad thing is if they tried to get him out of the cab to stop him they would pobably have been charged with assault as he collapsed...

Why does this idea somehow perpetuate? Police manhandle people (rightly or wrongly) during arrests all the time. The concept that a violent suspect who ends up with a widdle bruise has the coppers at his mercy is nonsense. Even peaceful hippies who get beaten during an arrest never manage to get the cops in trouble.

I doubt that this guy was just trying to not pay his debt. Bodily harm was his intent, you don\'t attack someone\'s house with a backhoe when they\'re in it without meaning to hurt them. If the police had shot him, you wouldn\'t catch me complaining.

Plus, killing their cats? Lock him up forever.
