now, when I sculpt, my heads are always either oversized or undersized referred to the rest of the body!

so I was wondering... is there any advice that you could give me that makes it easier to get the right size??

Well, they GENERALLY say that adults are \"7 heads\" tall.

For children and adolescents, down to around 5, etc etc

I\'d recommend getting (Or photocopying the relevant pages from) an artist\'s anatomy book.

well, I thought adult heads we 1/8 of the body.... I try to think about that, but when the hair and the throat and everything is on place it all seems a bit odd :(

Normally proportioned figures would be about 1:7 to 1:8, heroic scale mini i think are 1:5 or 1:6. Comic books, superheroes and stuff can be 1:whatever you damn well like.

Ignore hair for proportioning.
As for the throat, I\'d go for something rough, like, if he could fit his fist under his chin.
