While looking for a word in the Websters dictionary I came across \"geek.\" I think that some of us think of ourselves as geeks, but you just may have to change that thought when you find out that a geek is \"a carnival performer often billed as a wild man whose act usually includes biting the head off a live chicken or snake.\" I\'m sure they\'d let Ozzie into the club for a bat. lol

I once bit the head off of a rabbit....

Of course it was just a chocolate one...

I\'ll stick with my \'other\' geekiness.lol

Here is what encarta say\'s:

geek [ geek ] (plural geeks)

noun

1. somebody awkward: somebody who is considered unattractive and socially awkward ( insult )

2. arts outrageous carnival performer: a carnival performer whose act consists of outrageous feats such as biting the heads off live animals

3. computing obsessive computer user: somebody who enjoys or takes pride in using computers or other technology, often to what others consider an excessive degree ( informal )

[Late 19th century. Origin uncertain: perhaps from, ultimately, Low German gek “fool.”]

geek·y adjective

So I would think that Ozzie would apply under these definitions. :D

Nerd...

@ Shadzar - Webster\'s \"nerd\" - \"an unpleasant, unattractive, or insignificant person.\" At least \"geek\" seems to have a little personality. Wanna change your story now? :D

Right now the best word that describes me is STRESSED! lol

Yes he does Evil Dave, yes he does.

On a side note I have heard roumer\'s that Iron Maiden will be co-headliner\'s at this years Ozz Fest, with of course Black Sabath.

Call Ozzy whatever you like but the guy is still going strong and I love the guy always have, I don\'t think he\'ll ever be anything other than what he is a total entertainer. :D

He\'s an entertainer all right! lol

Especially with MTV\'s \"The Osbournes\" - I still laugh my ass off every time I remember the show where he tipped his chair backwards too far and fell over. It\'s hilarious because he\'s not trying to be an entertainer - he\'s just being himself.

lol ...

Note: Unlike the word \"nerd,\" which is always pejorative, \"geek\" often carries a positive connotation when used by one of the group. The use of the term by outsiders is considered insulting.
\"If you really need the right answer, check with Bob; he\'s our resident alpha geek.\"

reminds me of a certain group of people ... i think they called themselfs miniature painters
