Hey all!

I thought I might as well share my WIPs here

Right now I'm working on my BaneLegions stuff, I got Ulric, Muldo and The-Rose here which all are waiting for some paint. I started with Ulric and after having some "trouble" at the beginning and stripping paint 4x times, I will now keep him the way he turns out. So here's his current state:

He looks good. Nice to see on in the flesh and one not in a standard skin color.

I am a huge banelegions fan and plan on getting several once my painting backlog is cleared out a bit.

The calfs and shins are beautifully blended. You are definitely one to watch; you need to post regularly as 13 posts for someone of your calibre is just not enough. More please.

Oh and you need to come over to the dark side. leave TMM and start doing None Metal Metal.... and we can rule the galaxy together as father and son Luke..*cough*.... shit sorry don't know what came over me then. Lol

@AndyG - haha I'm painting NMM and TMM, u can check out my gallery it's a pretty good mix of both.

Here's an update:

Working on that sack over his head right now trying to get the viewer's focus up to his face. I will clean up those structure lines and try to push the highlights a bit further.

Also worked on his back and skirt.

Here's an update on his face:

I think it's getting better into focus now. Increased the eye shadows and pushed the highlights a bit.

Current progress on Muldo:

I intensed the shadows and the basetone of his bag with some red and blue shades also aiming a bit for a complementary contrast to make it draw more attention. I guess it's hardly visible on the pictures but in real life it does look good. The belt on his back, bandages and feet also got some paint. TMM is just basecoated.


His body is still WIP but I will switch to his arms now anyway. I want to have everything so far that I can glue all the parts together and then continue working on him as whole.

Very nice skin tones and light placement, the subtle introduction of colour tints to areas is also working nicely!

Really like skin tones on ulric and the Muldoon style figures from bane legions are on my shopping list so will be watch this thread closely for tips and inspiration
