p3 pant

I always use a wet pallette with mine as they can dry out a bit quick. I\'ve also found that there really good for base coats but not brilliant when layering as they cover so well.

I haven\'t really paid attention to palette dry time, but from brush to mini I find they feel like a \'wet\' paint and would maybe give it a little extra time between coats.

I have had some trouble getting layering consistencies that work the way I\'m used to working, but I assume some of that is lack of familiarity. What works well for me as a quick solution is to use the P3 as a base colour and mix in my usual paints (Reaper Master Series) to form shadow and highlight colours.

Try from the outset to dole out paint as neatly as possible. As the lids are attached, if you get the pot edges and lid grooves mucked up with paint you will get paint on your hands every time you open the bottle forever more. It\'s not so much that it won\'t come off my hands, but I worry about missing a spot and accidentally getting it on a completed part of the mini I\'m painting.

My experience with this stuff is alright. not my favorite by any stretch of the imagination but it\'s ok stuff. Close it with two hands(I spilled about two or three bottles already. ugh). The lid might/will probably come off eventually due to the small connection point. P3 dries kinda shiny so add some matte medium or something to it to knock down the shininess, don\'t use dullcoat if the mini is painted with mostly P3 as it will make it even shinier(from my own experience, results may vary)

Also, you may want to try the Privateer painter\'s technique of using a 2 brush feathering technique. You\'ll probably get much better results than if you\'re used to applying lots of thin layers with other paint lines.
