I was appalled at the cast quality of this figure. Flash, imperfections, pitting - I know I\'m always bashing GW, but this is supposed to be a \'special\'.....

Apart from that, I really like the model. He\'s got character. I\'ve got one to do for myself. Have some ideas for him that involve cutting and replacing various parts....;)

Very cool job! I like it a lot.

I can completely follow you on your rant about GW casts. I have experienced tons of problems with them too. And it seems that it sometimes can take a quarter of the time spent on painting them, just to clean them.

This is really nice, and for a good cause too so you get extra brownie points, i\'m not too sure about the blue sword sheaths, but i suppose they help a lot to break up the dark colours of the model, and are very well painted anyway, the scars are a nice touch and very realistic, it looks like a really awkward model to fit on a base the way the legs are positioned, i had the same problem with the ogre tyrant, this gets an 8.5 from me.

Great work Scott I have been painting this model for my own Ogre froce and it puts mine to shame. I envy the person who ends up owning the army as there is some cracking stuff there.

This guy looks great.
I like the way you can get your black materials to look black. Mine always seem to end up gray. :rolleyes:
Nice base too.
The idea of the Ogre Ninja cracks me up every time I see the mini.

Metallics? Oh shit....

Nobody told me:D Whoever buys it can always just stick it on their shelf! That\'s all I do with my minis!!!

My metals have dried up through lack of use! I tried using them on a mini recently and I just thought they looked rubbish.

So NMM for me from now on - No More Metallics!
