Hi all, I stuck up the paint aid tyrant, take a look

Tyrant

I originally wasn\'t going to add him as a post here, but then I thought that it is free advertising! So here he is, I tried to include as much about the project and the process of creating him in the post as possible, hopefully, in the end, to make our auction even more successful! :)

comments and critisms are of course always welcomed!

Thanks all,

-Eric

great job.

The Tyrant should be the centerpiece of the army, and you have certainly made him become that!

Great work.

wow, thanks for the great response everyone, like I said I packed so much work into him in about a week and a half I started having troubles really \"seeing\" him and if he was turning out.

@solaria2k I would guess, all told it took me about 35-40 hours, over about 10 days. WAY more than I anticipated when I started, heh.

This is simply put extraordinary. It should bump the price of the army up several hundred bucks (easily more). Do you mind if I ask how long it took you???? Keep up the amazing work.

And remember, folks, this was all painted with a GW tank brush.

(ok, actually a GW detail brush, as mentioned in the paintbrush discussion, but still... GW brushes )

actually it was done with GW brushes (although admittedly not a tank brush), GW paints, and nothing but plain water to thin the paints and washes. I guess you could say I\'m a relatively low tech painter, not a lot of extras ;)

@james about 35-40 hours I think (I did not keep exact track) over the space of about 10 days between the sculpting and painting, which is something since I\'ve been working 60-70 hours a week lately. Time to catch up on some sleep, nap time :D

What a centerpiece! this really draws my attention! Amazing work. 9.2 in my book.

This ogre army will without doubt raise a great deal of money for charity.
