As for the negative people, meh. It's a competitive world sure, but being an artist and getting paid what one SHOULD be paid is very rare in every area of it. You really should not go into this expecting that. Often I have found that it's the person who perseveres and is a stubborn bastid who is more successful than the one with 'cutting edge' talent who usually ends up so headf***ed by his own expectations he can't complete anything. Trust me, I've seen this. If someone loves what they are doing and devoting themselves to it, that's not something to poo poo at, particularly when they are asking for advice.

I'm more of a realist than a negative person mate. in fact, i don't do much in the way of negativity if I can help it. I'm just of the opinion that if a person has a brain and qualities in the real world, they should keep them there and keep the hobby as a hobby. Why work yourself into the ground for pittance? It's not a good way of living.
