greetings I think I know the trouble with damaged minis traveling its the \"Fragile\" stickers!! ..I got one in yesterday had 4 fragile stickers all the way around the box..low and behold..one side caved in..luckily the damage was minor..I would normally say good things about ups but this time I was very aggrivated to say the least especially after it was packaged so well :flame:anyone else had any problems lately with our wonderful mail carriers?

Ogrebane lol they would swear we were terrorists..pretty funny story not related to minis but a game convention..chattacon actually in chattanooga Tn..someone left a hazerdous waste sticker on a box in the parking lot and sure enuff someone freaked out..had the police and bomb squad etc there..nowadays it would be even bigger stink

I once saw a postal servace employee toss a package that had just been labled fragile. :flame:
Drake yeah one of my close friends that works in a machine shop had a ups/fed ex guy show up and he gave him the package he says unbeknownst to the driver he was watching him thru his side mirror and he did the same thing.I seen a thing that they have that would be wonderful..its a spill vial container goes on a package if its shook dropped etc this thing tells the tale..

Drake yep I agree im not sure if its only viable for certain things but for sure would make the carrier think twice..I must say the one carrier I know would never do this ive even seen him in town and him tell me things had been delivered unknown to me..so I think theres a few bad eggs in the pile and not all of them are bad guys..I would have to say though i seen a ups guy who delivered my first pc drop boxes off the back of the truck I was about flabberghasted at this..I know now they are pretty tough but this is just insane...

I used to work for a Christmas ornimant manufacturer and UPS was out delivery service. Ocassionally they were seen throwing the boxes of orniments into the truck. Ugggg.:flame:

Never mark anything as fragile.. it just makes a disgruntal employee what to find out just how fragile it might be.
I had a buddy work at a UPS hub, he use to tell me stories about them dropping tv\'s off the dock to hear them \"pop\"

Hehehe... this topic reminds me of a couple of guys i knew. They used to work for a no name shipper and were fired, so they made a device that was a motor, mercury switch and battery. They put that all into a box and whenever it was in any position other than sitting striaght up the motor would spin and it had an arm on it that would slam into a piece of paper making a loud booming noise.lol They told me they shipped it back and forth a bit.
