Paint Organizers

Granddad!
I made this from 40mm waste pipe and suitable sized timber, don't have the exact sizes to hand, but I guess I could go measure at a push! :smile-big:

I was looking for a reason to mount my pc-screen to the wall and now I believe I've found a rather pretty one!
I love the horizontal rack you've got showing in the first post

Wow that is one awesome workstation mick! I used to have a huge hobby room in our basement with three different work tables, one for modelling, one for painting and one for large-scale and scenery stuff lol. Now that i live in an apartment i had to throw/give away the majority of my stuff and i'm confined to a small Ikea serving tray, a small tool-kit and the corner of the dinner table lol.

Wow, I'm speechless.

I want one.

I have my grandfather's tool box for tools and modeling stuff, and another toolbox for painting stuff. And a Dremel in it's own box. I'm working at the dining table at the moment, so I only ever model or paint at any one time, and everything gets packed up when I'm finished. (Dremeling is done on the back patio)

Thanks Mule, this is quite an old pic, but not much has changed, except this is now the back room of the workshop rather than "the" workshop. I do need to make another paint rack at some point soon, so I guess I could maybe do some sort step by step with some dimensions and a few pics to go along with it

yeah there was, you could have made three of my racks, one down each side and a nice long one across the back and you'd have only lost about 50-75mm/2-3" of desk space around the edges of the table :smile-big:
Only joking, but those Paintiers do take up a lot of usable desk space

I made a quick paint organizer from a closet organizer I got at Lowes for $12.
All I needed was a drill some paddle bits and the $12 box from Lowes.

here is a pic. I kind of rushed it last night So I am going to make another one
with more holes and have them all line up this time.

closet organizer I got from Lowes.

nice thing about these closet organizers is they stack on each other so i took the first one appart and made it into a shelf.
