Hello... Just gathering some input as to what the general paint recipes may be for the Immortal of Destiny that Rackham has showcased. Some pictures:

I tried using, 2:1 bleached bone: bestial brown, with some brown ink. Then highlighted one level with more bleached, and the stuff comes out looking like chocolate. I shade with a brown ink, blue ink, bestial brown mix. I think my shading is correct.
The wood looks much yellower, perhaps going into the snake bite leathers? Adding... white? or bleached bone?

Also, for the greenery, I have base coated with catachen green, hoping to work my way into something vibrant.

The flesh, I would say... bleached bone, glazed with greens?

anything else?

Oh... please stick to GW paints, but any help is... well, help.

Yeah I take that BB skin back. Def some green, going up to almost pure white.

Any thoughts on the tree part?

Looks like it has a bit of Bubonic Brown in it highlighting up to Bleach Bone, but only near the top. the green at the bottom looks like Catachan Green with a little Goblin Green in it. not sure about the brown though.

Damn straight, I juiced up my brown with some glazes and repainting with snakebite leather... if I remember correctly, bubonic brown is the next stage in the yellow browns. I\'ll be adding that tomrrow, and trying that green out some. Good stuff

For the skin, I\'d try Rotting Flesh with a tiny bit of Camo, then work up with Rotting Flesh and Rotting Flesh/Skull White...

For the browns... Maybe Bestial brown, layered with increasing amounts of Vomit brown and adding some white into the Vomit brown? Then do a very diluted wash of Bestial(and maybe Snakebite Leather...)?
For the greens, you might try adding some Bubonic Brown (then more white)into the Catachan for the blend into the trunk...
Dunno, might try doing my own one of these days...

I tried bestial... it definitly hits more on the mark going with the yellow browns. Bsaecoast snake bite, knockup some boob on ick. Bleachey boned, and I tried shading with blue\\bronw which looks quite noice

I did rotten flesh, rotten flesh + white, then white.

Sword got white + blue ink + more white + white.

You\'ll see my WIP soon.
