Heres a bridge I just painted for ebay..Probably wont put it up to be voted on because well I know its not anything special and will get 6\'s and thats not the point.. so I thought Id show it here and explain how I did it quickly.
First it was cleaned and assembled and primered flat black.
Next I took a dark grey and drybrushed the whole bridge and then slowly added white t the mix to lighten. I used cheap craft store paint for this so I can\'t tell you an exact color as the label is worn off.
Keep lightening the color mix with white till you get a highlight you like.
Next I took vandyke brown water color tube paint and created a wash and washed the whole bridge. Once dry I took a damp rag and whiped the whole thing down to remove the water color paint from the top surface and leave it in the cracks and creavaces to give it that dirty look. Once dry I re highlighted with some white and clear coated 3 coats of a dull matt finish.
Pretty simple..whole thing took less than a couple hours total.
Here are some pictures.
Let me know what you think. Its listed in the trading post area for sale.
