Painting again !!!

Hello

It has been awhile since I have posted anything here. I have recently started to get back into painting after a break of about 8 months and have managed to finish a couple of miniatures (more on the way !!!). One being a commission of the Emperor and the other being Sicarius.

As I have had a bit of a break I thought it would be a good idea to follow the Eavy Metal painting guide for Sicarius and I also wanted to have a go at selling it on Ebay. I wasn't expecting lots of money for it but I also didn't want to sell it for a really low amount so I decided to put a reserve on the auction. It managed to meet its reserve price but I was a bit worried as the bidder did not have an Ebay rating, after almost 4 days now I still have not received a payment =( so it looks like I will have to relist it. Has anyone else had similiar problems? Anyway I am not going to let it knock me back too much as I wasn't expecting thing to be easy !!!

Thanx

Tom

I've had people that take a while to pay, this happens too though. Just gotta roll with the punches unfortunately =/
That aside, welcome back! Hope your future auctions go much smoother than the last one, try not to be discouraged =)

Haha, thanx Tim !!!

As for waiting for people to pay I wouldn't mind so much if they have a good Ebay rating already.... I just had a really strong feeling it would be a non payer as soon as i saw there bid but oh well its all part of the fun right? =)

If in "fun" you mean "I wish I knew who that guy was so I could punch him in the mouth, goddamnit!" way, then yeah! =D

ED; @Tommie; Dude, I've thought washes would work and f**ked up so many jobs lol! Or made more work for myself!

isn't this from another thread???!!! but the wash is never to blame, it's HOW you use it that produces bad or good resuts

i have been here for about 7 months now, I am heading back to the UK for Christmas though not sure about the plan after that though, maybe I will head back to Thailand.

One thing which makes the hobby difficult here is that it is very hard to get hold of paints, miniatures etc. I have managed to find one shop over here but they don't stock a great deal and it works out to be more expensive.... luckily I brought quite a lot of stuff out here with me, starting to run low on a few paints now though. I am going to have to restock when I get back to England!!!
