Well first off, I\'d do a nice dark brown base.
Scorched should do you - then a layer of bestial - leaving the scorched only in the darkest areas.

Then I\'d start to go over the majority of the hair with bleached bone - I say bleached because it tends to cover better than other GW browns. Leave the bestial in the darker areas, gradiating into the bleached with whatever method you like.

Once you\'ve got the bleached down nice and smooth, it\'s up to you what sort of blonde you want, whether you want a goldy blonde or platinum, etc...

You could also use a technique called zenithal highlighting if you want the hair to appear particularly shiny (And/or also introduce a small amount of gold metallic into the paint)

thats great stuff. One problem. Im out of Bestial Brown!

eek! what shall i use as a substitute? lighten up scorched brown with white?

Also, do i not use any yellow then at all? Just bleached bone?

No - I said once you\'ve got an even layer of bleached down, it\'s up to you how you colour it - whether you use desert yellow for a more dirty/mousey blonde, or sunburst for a more vibrant colour.

Also - don\'t use straight white for lightening scorched - it\'ll probably go grey or something - try snakebite.

Remember bright doesn\'t mean more yellow. :) I would even say that you should try to stay away from the sunburst yellow can

Adding to DaNs tips, graveyard earth and bleached bone are two excellent colours when trying to do blonde hair. And even then the gradient tones can become too yellow at times. Snakebit leather can be used sparingly as well to increase vibrancy.

This one, if it\'s anything like what you are going for, was done with graveyard earth and bleached bone as well as some washes of grey. On a black primer I\'d might try foundation khemri brown and then go over it with graveyard earth. Then I\'ll wash the hair (hehe) with a deeper brown, probably not a red brown though. Maybe only add a smirk of black to the graveyard. Then graveyard + bleached bones and washes of graveyard or maybe snakebite leather to increase vibrancy.

PS. When I mentioned Zenithal lighting, I THINK I actually meant SENMM :p

I get confused easily.

Look - a squirrel! :D

I usually start with a scorched brown and work it up to vomit brown and use Bleached bone as a highlight. Just thought I would mention it.

haha trouble is i got all those posts AFTER i had painted it. I ended up using scorched brown, then mixing scorched and snakebite, then bleached bone, Sunburst, Bad moon then tiny tips of white. She looks ok, i think my next Wych i will use a more ash blonde by using desert yellow, see how that goes.

Thanks for all your help guys. I would post a pic but my parents arer on holiday and have the camera :(
